Is LocalFlips.com legit?
Yes. LocalFlips.com is a US web service for people who flip things they buy locally. It finds underpriced listings near you and shows the math. Here’s what to know before you sign up.
What it does
When a listing on Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp or Craigslist inside your area is projected to clear $50 profit after selling fees and a 50% all-in return by default, LocalFlips.com sends it to you with the numbers: the asking price, a suggested offer, what it sells for, the fees and the projected profit. You buy the item from the seller yourself.
Who built it
LocalFlips.com was built by Chris, its founder. Questions go to a real person at support@localflips.com, or use the contact form in Help.
What it costs
- Your first profitable find is free, and it needs no card.
- After that you pay $1 for every $20 of projected profit we send you.
- You choose a monthly limit, from $10 up, and you’re never billed more than that.
- There’s no flat monthly fee. A month with no finds costs nothing.
- You can pause any time, or cancel on Billing. Finds already delivered are still billed.
Refunds
Report a problem from the find: a scam or suspicious seller, a changed price, an estimate that looks off, or details that don’t match. We review every report, and if we confirm the problem, you get that find’s fee back. A listing that simply sells to someone else first isn’t refunded.
What it never does
- It never touches your Facebook, OfferUp or Craigslist account.
- It never messages sellers or buys anything for you.
- It doesn’t sell your personal information.
- It isn’t a course, a house-flipping service or a dating site.
What it can’t promise
Projected profit is an estimate, made from real recent sales when we send the find. Condition, what you end up paying and the final sale price can all change what you actually make, so check each find before you buy. How we estimate profit explains the math.
Not affiliated with the marketplaces
LocalFlips.com is independent and isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., OfferUp Inc. or craigslist, Inc. Each find links to the original listing, and you deal with the seller there.
The Terms of service and Privacy policy cover the details, Pricing explains billing, and Help answers the rest.
No card needed for the first one. Pricing has the details.
